A Redefined Life. I have faced a life-threatening illness and believe it is important that throughout the blog and the rest of the website that we honor those that have faced a life-changing diagnosis. Whether you are newly diagnosed or have been living with your “new” reality for a while, know that you are not alone.
As part of the blog, I will share my story from the early stages of the diagnosis of a Meningioma brain tumor through today; which is almost 5 years later. This journey that is my life has been full of experiences and I know the struggles, the uncertainty and the fear felt from the initial diagnosis through recovery after surgery.
Let my story be a source of strength for you. And, as this community continues to grow; you will find other like-minds can be a source of strength for you also. We are in this together. The hope is that the vision for your “new” reality is that you accept every aspect of where you are and realize the potential of who you can still become. The women in this community are doing it and I believe you can too.
