I had a successful sales and marketing career, working in corporate America for almost 2 decades. In the quest to reach the ultimate goal of connecting with women and helping them envision their dreams; in 2002, I realized my own life-long dream by pursuing a degree in Psychology. In the last year of studies with just 5 classes left before graduation, my life changed forever.
The diagnosis of a brain tumor just a few months after my 40th birthday left me and my family facing a very frightening time considering what could be the future. Just a few short weeks after diagnosis, I went through a 6-hour surgery to remove a tumor that had been slowly occupying space in my head for almost ten years. I came to the belief that you can “create your life consciously” and truly changed the story of what could have been during my diagnosis and recovery. The potential outcome of surgery to remove the tumor included paralysis, stroke, loss of my memory and possibly my eyesight. Miraculously, none of what the doctors suggested could happen; did happen. Just 6 months after surgery, I was back at school again with the steadfast goal of completing my course work. In December 2004; on the one-year anniversary of my diagnosis of a brain tumor, I graduated and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Psychology from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
Today, just a few years after that life-changing event, I’m a successful business entrepreneur, mentor coach and marketing consultant. Life continues to bring amazing possibilities for me as I continue to follow the belief that, “Everything You Think, You Create”.
