The creation of this online vision board came to me one day when I was free-writing in my journal. The vision was of a place, a safe haven for women to come; to support one another, to write down their dreams and take the steps to make them a reality. The beauty surrounding this community of like-minded women is that each individual can write down their vision for their purposeful life, read other women’s excerpts and support each other along the way. The vision encompassed an online collective community, literally a collective vision board. And here it is…
Your vision can start with the first small step of placing your thoughts down on paper or on the computer…it doesn’t matter. What does matter is that if you have a vision you want to share-do it. Share your dreams on the collective vision board that has been created here for you and watch the miracles start to happen. Who knows who you may connect with that shares the same vision? Other like-minds may have a similar idea, want to start a comparable business, or they may have an idea on how to help you take the steps to connect with your purpose.
So, take the 1st step. Ask yourself the question, “What Do I Want?” Really ask it. Without the old stories of:
- “What will others think?”
- “I am too old.”
- “I am not educated enough.”
- “I don’t have the money.”
Let the old stories go for now. Set them aside. And, go to that quiet place and ask again, “What Do I Want?” and listen from your heart center and start to write freely what comes to you. Whether it’s a pen and paper, or keyboard strokes placing your words on the computer screen…just write. And then, share your purpose. Share what resonates for you in the safe haven that has been created here for all women. Log back in here and share your story and be ready for amazing things to occur…for they will.
I am an example of the vision described above. I aligned with my purpose – the vision I had from years ago. I let go of the outcome and trusted the process. If I can do it, having faced a life-threatening illness, with all of the doctor’s reports listing the things that could go wrong, that never did…you can envision your next step too! I looked at what my future life was going to be and I wanted more. I had envisioned a purpose years ago and I was going to fulfill my dream. Isn’t it time for you to do the same?
Here is to your purposeful life…
I love this board Lisa. It is an extension of what I want which is to help create a world in which we all help each other to be the best we can be. I love that this is a space to give voice to my dreams. Right now my dreams center around women helping women but in the process, I would love to see the creation of the same opportunities for men. I love the idea of cooperation rather than competition. I love it when two people who disagree can listen and learn from each other. We are all one and this is an incredible venue to share our experience, strength and hope with each other. Thanks Lisa!

Thank you so much Lisa!
I’ve publicly committed to my vision board here:

It’s always a work in progress.
I’ve also added some downloadable templates so others may use PowerPoint or Keynote to create their own.
